css=&#8221;.vc_custom_1790145892511{margin-bottom: 10px !important;}&#8221;]You can submit a parental declaration of support if your child is 2, 3 or 4 years old on 1 November of this year and lives in Schiedam or within a 6-kilometre radius of Schiedam. Have your own DigiD and your child\u2019s BSN* ready. Your personal information will be processed securely.<\/p>\n<p>By submitting a parental declaration of interest, you simply show that you support the initiative for the new school. The declaration is non-binding and is not an enrolment at the school.<\/p>\n<h3>Step-by-step guide<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Click the \u2018Sign the parental declaration now\u2019 You will be taken to the correct school initiative on the DUO website. On the DUO website, the initiative is called \u2018Nieuw Schiedam\u2019.<\/li>\n<li>Click \u2018Ouderverklaring afgeven\u2019 (Start parental declaration) for the initiative and log in to Mijn DUO using your own DigiD.<\/li>\n<li>Enter your child\u2019s BSN. DUO uses this to check, among other things, your child\u2019s age and place of residence.<\/li>\n<li>Submit the parental declaration. You will immediately see whether the declaration meets the requirements.
